Provisional Rules:
Note - these rules are SUBJECT TO CHANGES upon release of the "Rise of the Samurai" patch:
Teams will play two 3v3 games, with a third, tie-breaking game if neccessary. Replays must be saved for all games.
Avatar Mode
No artillery (rockets, mortars, cannons, magonels)
Max 3 matchlock units
Max 6 veteren units
Max 4 of the same unit
DLC units allowed if both teams agree
Funds: 14k
Season/Weather: Spring/Dry
Unit size: Medium
Key buildings: off
Format
Teams will be sorted into two equally-sized leagues. The winners of these leagues will face each other in the finals for the gold medal, with the loser of this contest being allocated the silver medal. The runners-up of the leagues will fight each other for the bronze medal.
Maps & settings
Different maps will be announced in each round. The same map will be used for the first two battles, with teams swapping deployment zones in the 2nd battle. The default tie-breaker map is Rice Fields.
Teams are allowed to negotiate map changes amongst themselves.
Rules on Camping
Red Line - Positioning a unit to take advantage of the red line is against the rules. Armies should stay near the red line for no more than 3 minutes before moving.
Forests - Players should not keep any significant part of their forces idle in a forest for more than 5 minutes. Moving units into a forest to fire at the enemy, moving units into a forest after melee has started, or moving through forests are all acceptable tactics.
Lag & Crashed Games
In case of a crash or disconnection, all players remaining in the game are required to SAVE REPLAYS and TAKE SCREENSHOTS and make these available if requested by the admin team. If no screenshots or replays are available, the game will be replayed by default.
Disputes
A panel of three impartial and trusted players will be appointed to resolve any disputes concerning the rules. To ensure impartiality, we will endeaver to ensure these players will have no connection to the players teams involved in the dispute.
