Mój jeden z ulubionych modów do Medka 2 w tamtym roku dostał nową wersję, a i w tym autorzy coś skrobią.
Zobaczymy z czasem co im wyjdzie./Eutyches/

Wejść w niego najlepiej programem 7zip. Ja używam dodatkowo nakładki Total Commander upraszcza takie operacje.
Kilka screenów, by nie było niedomówień, jak prosi o nadpisywanie to nadpisywać, dużo tego nie ma.

To install the 2.3.6 version you need to do the following.

5) To start the mod go to your in your 'Medieval II Total War' folder (default location 'C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War') and double click on the 'conquest XP.bat' it you're using XP or 'conquest VISTA.bat' if you're using Vista or Windows 7.

This will bring up the Eras Menu. Select the campaign you want to play (type either 'A', 'B', 'C', 'D', 'E', '1', '2', or '3' and press 'enter' or 'return').

If the Eras Menu closes after loading the files but the mod doesn't start then double click on the 'conquest.bat' and on the Eras Menu type '0' (zero).

The recruitment and upkeep costs of several Chinese factions has been changed as real recruitment provided a way to calculate these costs.
Poland's 15th and 16th century army has been altered to make it more accurate (added Gothic Knights to Poland, Polish Hussars are now a light unit in the early period, and updated the 1547 roster).
I've remade the climates so they're more accurate.

Zainstalowałem tego moda tak jak jest podane w instrukcji. Gdy włączam conquest VISTA lub conquest XP po wybraniu okresu i po załadowaniu plików okienko się po prostu wyłącza i nic się nie dzieje. Mam zwykłgo Medievala 2 bez dodatku. Czy to problem tego że nie mam dodatku czy może źle zainstalowałem? Proszę o szybką odpowiedź. ;)

Skoro to nie wina gry to może systemu. Mam Windows 7 64 bitową wersję. Czy to wina systemu?

Do działania moda konieczne jest posiadanie Kingdoms w wersji 1.5. Dodatkowo przy Win7 nie instaluj gier na tej partycji co system Windows i wyłącz UAC w Win7, poczytaj w necie jak to uczynić. Ja mam Win7 64 bitowy i Eras mi działa.

Skoro to nie wina gry to może systemu. Mam Windows 7 64 bitową wersję. Czy to wina systemu?

Ta instrukcja jest jakaś wadliwa... szczególnie, że foldery 1080, 1200, 1300, world, itd. każe mi wypakować do głównego folderu Medievala!! Ktoś może podpowiedzieć, jak to ustrojstwo zainstalować? :( Ogólnie się zdziwiłem, bo zauważyłem, że tworza się dwa foldery "data", a folder "mods" tworzy się w lokacji: MODS\conquest\...

W tym modzie część plików instaluje się do katalogu głównego Medievala. Nie powinny wpływać na oryginalną grę.

I sposób od Samicka jest najprostszy, trochę pobierania, ale dużo prostsza instalacja, bo masz od razu 2.3.5 w III częściach a potem pobierasz tylko 2.3.6 i masz wszystko, bez potrzeby pobierania wcześniejszych wersji, w tym 2.0

Z tą instalacją do folderu data nie pamiętam o co chodzi, ale bardzo prawdopodobne, że to taki artefakt z przeszłości. ETC rozwija się bezustannie (choć powoli) i wersja 2.0 nie była niegdyś punktem wyjścia. Prawdopodobnie nagrywało się ją na jeszcze starszą wersję. Zmieniały się cyferki przy ver. ale autor nie usunął tego niefortunnego zapisu.

Z drugiej strony zawsze może być tak, że mod sam się wypakowuje do tego folderu, tworząc go podczas instalacji. :)

Poprawny sposób instalacji Eras Total Conquest dla graczy korzystających z wersji Med2 NIE STEAM

Przed instalowaniem jakiegokolwiek moda należy przynajmniej raz uruchomić grę.

1)Pobierz wersję 2.0 moda i wypakuj do folderu w którym zainstalowany jest Medieval II Total War ( przykładowa lokacja - C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War ).

2)Pobierz patch 2.2 i wypakuj pliki do folderu C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\conquest\data Nadpisz istniejące pliki.

3)Pobierz patch 2.3.3 i wypakuj do folderu C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War Nadpisz istniejące pliki.

4)Pobierz patch 2.3.4 i wypakuj do folderu C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\conquest\data Nadpisz istniejące pliki.

5)Pobierz patch 2.3.5 i wypakuj do folderu C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\conquest\data Nadpisz istniejące pliki.

6)Pobierz patch 2.3.6 i wypakuj do folderu C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\conquest\data Nadpisz istniejące pliki.

Uwaga dla posiadaczy systemu Win7 aby mod działał poprawnie należy wyłączyć opcje Kontroli Użytkowników.

Właśnie się poddałem - nie wiem jak zainstalować tego moda, na wersji steam, gdzie Kingdoms nie jest dodatkiem, ale DLC (to chyba jakaś niedawna zmiana - wszystkie instrukcje w necie nie uwzględniają tego).

Próbowałem już tę metodą i nie działała... ale teraz o dziwo poszło. Z tym że ładuje się tylko scenariusz z 970. Gdy załadowuję w plikach BAT późniejsze kampanie to włącza się podstawowa wersja gry (z resztą przy 970 tak samo). Wtedy wychodzę z gry i włączam przez steama - no i wtedy właśnie jest scenariusz z 970.

EDIT:
Ok, już wiem o co chodzi - ponieważ z tą metodą mod nie nazywa się już "conquest", a "british_isles" (u mnie), to trzeba było również zmienić ścieżki w pliku BAT.
